This is a response video to Labarum 312 and his video done in response to mine, 'The KJB translators rejected the word 'passover'
Labarum wants to say that the word 'Easter' is an anachronism a word that could be understood in the 17th century, but not now.
Ofcourse, this would not make it an error, since an anarchism isn't an error. However, the word isn't an anachronism, since Passover is the incorrect word to use and that is why the KJB translators rejected the Geneva's Bible usage of it and chose the word 'Easter'.
Labarum would have you believe that the translators just casually chose 'Easer' over 'passover' going against the very respected Geneva Bible.
What the translators saw is that the phrase, 'after the passover' used twice in the Old Testament, always referred to the passover day and the remaining days were considered the feast of unleavened bread (Acts 12:3).
Neither Lk.22:1 nor Ezek.45:21 change that usage, since they don't speak of the actual passover day ending as it states in Acts 12:4.
The word 'Paska' had two meanings in English, passover and Easter, as the word 'passover' was coined by Tyndale.
Tyndale adopted the word 'Easter' from Luther's usage in his translation and his translation has 'Easter' for Acts 12:4 as well as late as 1913.
