Pastor Don Poest's sermon based on Genesis 1:1-5; John 1:1-14: "Christmas Lights: Contrast." Lights show up best when it is dark outside. Their purpose is to penetrate that darkness. So the light of Christ penetrates the darkness of sin, and so our light is to penetrate the dark places of our world. We must so live that people notice the contrast, and desire to be light rather than darkness.
