2) Set apart for God and His purposes.
3) Are in Christ by faith

1. JOY IS FOUND IN OUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS
1.1 Remembering Paul’s circumstances
1.2 The cause of Christ united the Philippians’ Church with Paul
1.3 Working at maintaining healthy relationships

2. JOY IS FOUND IS IN THE SECURITY OF OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

JOYFUL SECURITY IS FOUND ONLY WHEN
OUR CONFIDENCE IS PLACED IN GOD AND HIS WORK !

2.1 Paul isn’t confident they’ll make it to heaven because of anything they’ve done
2.2 Paul is confident because of divine perseverance

3. THE CALL –WHAT ABOUT YOU?

CONCLUSION
HERE is truth that consistent joy is built upon.
1. Two great sources of joy
A. Relationships; get involved, get to know one another and serve together.
B. Doctrine – the great doctrine of the security of the true believer and the perseverance of the saints are a source of great joy.

If I’m not sure I’m going to heaven, how can I truly experience joy?
