Pastor Pat Lazovich was born in Bisbee, Arizona. He came to the Lord in 1983, and in the years following his salvation he continued his work as a potter.

During that season, the “Through the Bible” tape series by Pastor Chuck Smith became a constant companion at his potter’s wheel, grounding him in God’s Word and shaping his calling. While serving on the mission field in Mexico, Pat was called to Calvary Chapel Bible College, where the Lord confirmed his desire to teach the Word of God and equip the saints for the work of ministry.

He first pastored in Bisbee before the Lord led him to Sierra Vista. On Christmas Eve of 1991, Calvary Chapel Sierra Vista held its very first service under his leadership. Over the decades since, Pastor Pat has faithfully ministered with the same heart that stirred him as a young believer - “to simply teach the Word simply” not only from the pulpit, but also his
“Strength for Today” domestic and international radio program and podcast. Pastor Pat and his wife Gay Nell have been married for 55 years and are blessed with one adult daughter.
