Welcome and Announcements Dr. Drew DiNardo

Call to Worship (Adapted from Exodus 15)

One: Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD: “I will sing to the LORD, for he is highly exalted.

All: The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him

One: Who among the gods is like you, LORD? Who is like you— majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?”

Invocation

*Hymn 115 “All Creatures of Our God and King”

*Call to Confession Nathan Titus, Pastoral Intern

The LORD God promises in Isaiah that even “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. And so let us draw near to God with sincerity of heart and full assurance of faith repenting and confessing our sin before God and man

*Prayer of Confession

Heavenly Father, you have loved us with an everlasting love, but we have gone our own way, and rejected your will for our lives. We are sorry for our sins and turn away from them. For the sake of your Son who died for us, forgive us, cleanse us, and change us. By your Holy Spirit, enable us to live for you, and to please you in every way; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

*Words of Assurance

*The Gloria Patri

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

* Confession of Faith (taken from Westminster Confession of Faith)

We believe God requires of us faith in Jesus Christ and repentance unto life to escape the wrath and curse of God due to us for sin;

We believe by His free grace we are effectually called, justified, and sanctified, and gathered into the visible church out of which there is no ordinary possibility of salvation;

We believe that we also are given in this life such accompanying benefits as assurance of God’s love, peace of conscience, joy in the Holy Spirit, increase of grace, and perseverance therein to the end.

We believe that at death, we are made perfect in holiness and immediately pass into glory; we shall openly be acknowledged and acquitted in the Day of Judgment, and

We believe we are made perfectly blessed in the fully enjoying of God for all eternity. Amen.

Intercessory Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
