Peace comes through submission to God.

The amount of unhappiness in your life is usually equal to the amount of unmet expectations in your life.

The greater the gap between what you expected to happen and what actually is happening, the greater the gap between you and your peace.

Peace is found when your desires and God’s will for you become one.
When you want something God doesn’t have for you, there is turmoil in your soul.

Only by submitting to the will of the Lord will tranquility triumph in your inner being.

Thus, Jesus teaches us to pray, “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:9-10)
