Jeremiah 28: 5-9
New International Version (NIV)
5 Then the prophet Jeremiah replied to the prophet Hananiah before the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the Lord. 6 He said, “Amen! May the LORD do so! May the LORD fulfill the words you have prophesied by bringing the articles of the LORD's house and all the exiles back to this place from Babylon. 7 Nevertheless, listen to what I have to say in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people: 8 From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague against many countries and great kingdoms. 9 But the prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the LORD only if his prediction comes true.”

Principal Moving Fund: Our goal is to raise $10,000 by the end of June. To date, we have raised $7,020 toward this goal. We thank those who have donated already and ask for everyone else to join us in this effort. You can either donate by writing a separate check and putting “Principal Moving Fund” on the check and putting it in the offering plate. You can also give online using the “Principal Moving Fund” category. Thank you for your help in meeting this need.
VBS (Vacation Bible School) Meeting: It’s time again to start planning for our 2018 Vacation Bible School. Our VBS is planned for July 16-20. We will be looking for many volunteers to help us with this. A meeting will be held on Monday, July 2 starting at 6: 30 p.m. for everyone who wants to help with our VBS. If you are interested in helping, you can talk with Kristin Phillips or Pastor Vann and they will get you more information. If you (or someone you know) are looking to register for VBS, you can do so at our church website: http://www.northdalelutheran.org.
