Philippians 2:4 (NLT)
"Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too."

The command of this verse is short and simple. Treat other people with respect and selflessness. It's important that the interests of others should be important to us too. Certainly we look out for ourselves but how can we turn a blind eye when others have needs.

There is genius in generosity because God gives back. But if we have clinched fists on our own interests, God cannot pour any more into our hands because they are already closed and clinging tightly to what they are holding on to. So when we open our hands, and our arms it allows us to offer embrace to others and pay it forward.
