THINK OF HIM

The three of us have different temperament and personality. I am a melancholic and I tend to think bad about myself - listening to the lies of the enemy. Until God shed light to me through our scripture song for this week.
These Bible verses are very familiar to me growing up in the church as a Pastor's kid but it is just in the recent years that God taught me how these verses can come alive, especially Philippians 4:8. It is like a filtration system! When I start to think that "I'm ugly and unloved" (and all sorts of negative thoughts), PAUSE.
Is it true? Is it honest? Is it just? Is it pure?...
And amazingly I don't have to finish the list because those negative thoughts will prove unworthy of my emotion and my time based on the "filtration system".
We can use this filtration system not just with our thoughts, but also with the songs we listen to, videos we watch, etc.
Is it true? Is it honest? Is it just? Is it pure?...
Because any inch may mean a ruler to the devil.
Anything not surrendered may be an avenue for the devil.

May we think of the beautiful Savior this Sabbath!

ARM of Jesus - this is what we recently call ourselves which stands for (first) our name Arieona, Rachel and Meriam and (second) our calling - health ministry, specifically the dental area, which is the right hand of the gospel. We pray that we will continue to be the extension of God's A.R.M. in this dying world.
