Fasting and Prayer Series #3: Mighty Prayer, Jeremiah 33:3

Here in Jeremiah 33:3 is one of the sweetest invitations to prayer you will ever find. And with it comes one amazing promise.
Many times we find ourselves going through dark and difficult times that we don't understand and we ask God, "Why?" Such questions are not a revelation of a lack of faith, but it is hypocrisy to pretend that we have accepted God's ways and are walking in complete submission to Him when actually we are having questions deep inside. I believe that God wants us to be completely honest with Him above everything else. And this is His promise to us:
Jeremiah 33:3
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Do you want prayers answered and to know the Lord hears you when you pray? We've been given an invitation to call on God. Most of us can't pick up the phone and call the big shots in government and business and entertainment, but there's not a one of us who can't contact Heaven.
God has Commanded us to pray, so failure to pray is a Sin.
God has Invited us to pray, so failure to pray is an Insult.
God has Privileged us to pray, so failure to pray is Folly.

There is no problem too big, no promise too difficult, and no person too lost that cannot be saved. There is nothing that God cannot do. What are you waiting for? Listen to today's sermon and you, too, can pray Mighty Prayers!
