When we go to God in prayer, I want us to have a different posture of faith and just love for our loving Heavenly Father. And I'll illustrate it this way. My kids used to come up to me and do this. They used to say, "Dad, you're probably not gonna do this." And I said, "What am I, what am I not gonna do?" "Well, you're probably not gonna." And as they're doing that, I'm getting offended 'cause I'm thinking, "I'm a good dad. Why are you assuming I don't wanna do a good thing?" Right? And they said, I said, "What is it that you want?" They said, "Well, you're probably not gonna buy us ice cream." I said, "Never ask for ice cream that way again. Here's how you're gonna do it. 'Hey, Dad, you're the best dad on planet Earth.'" "And because you're so good, I bet you wanna buy us ice cream." How many know they got a lot more ice cream that way?
