From Nehemiah 1:11b-2:18, we see the courageous, visionary leadership of Nehemiah, the king’s cupbearer, as he speaks to King Artaxerxes, inspects the damage to Jerusalem, and plans for its reconstruction. We will look at the characteristics of Nehemiah that help him to rise to the challenge and the call to lead.
