In prison ministry, people often quote the part of Matthew 25 that says, "I was in prison and you visited me." It's important to remember that the scripture simply says you visited.

It doesn't say you had to preach a sermon or re-emphasize their mistakes. The power is in the unconditional act of visitation—showing love as you are, without requirements or conditions. That's what true ministry is about.
