Psalm 33 :1-2, 4-5, 18-19 ‘Lord, let Your mercy be on us’ is an exhortation to the people of God to sing his praise with all their heart and mind for His wonder of creation and for His faithfulness. It calls us to surrender our lives to Him and hope for His kindness that He will lead us to eternal life.
R/- Lord, let your mercy be on us, as we place our trust in You (2)
1. Exult, you just, in the Lord;
Praise from the upright is fitting.
Give thanks to the Lord upon the harp;
With the ten-stringed lyre chant His praises.
2. Upright is the word of the Lord,
And all His works are trustworthy.
He loves justice and right;
The earth is full of His kindness.
3. O see, the eyes of the Lord
Are on those who fear Him,
Upon those who hope for His kindness,
To deliver them from death and famine.
