"For You Are Great and You Alone"
(Psalm 86:10-13a, 15-17)
Teach me your way, O Lord,
and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart to revere your name.
I will thank you, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
and glorify your name forevermore.
For you are great, and you alone.
For great is your love toward me;
but you, O Lord, are gracious and full of compassion,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.
Turn to me and have mercy on me;
give your strength to your servant,
and save the child of your handmaid.
For you are great, and you alone.
Show me a sign of your favor…
because you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.
Yes, you have helped and comforted me,
for you are great, and you alone.
