Psalm 91
1. In the shadow of Shaddai, in the shelter of Elyon,
9. in God you make your refuge, in the LORD you find your home:
10. no evil will befall you, neither angst attack your soul,
nor horror harm your homestead, nothing leave you less than whole.
11. For God will grace the angels all to guide you through your days––
yes, God will give the angels charge to guard you all your ways:
12. whose wings will wave in holy praise, their hands will reach your own
to lift you up lest life should drop your hope against its stone.
14-15. “My little ones who cling to me, who call my love by name––
I’ll hold you close, deliver you, and answer you the same:
I’ll be with you through troubles, save and honor you by grace;
16. I’ll raise you up myself,” says God, “to see my smiling face.”
