Question:
I have a nurse manager that is very vocal about his post-trib rapture views. So. I tried to share with him my belief in the pre-trib rapture, that he does not despair. But, the root of the problem is that he believes Israel has been replaced by Christians. He believes in replacement theology. I know Pastor James covered this extensively when going over Romans. And I showed him all the verses in Romans 9, 10, 11 when Paul talks about his kinsmen in the flesh being Israelites.
Here is my question; he brought me to Romans 2:28
“  For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”
This verse really stumped me. And I know
The Bible does not contradict itself. So maybe I’m just smart enough to figure this out. But I was hoping you guys could shed some
Light on this?
Thanks Brother Ed
