"Don't Let Your Deliverance be Your Downfall", Judges 15:18-20 - Pastor, Dr. Jerome F. Coleman
Sermon Series- Samson: A Wasted Life of Power
-Your deliverance from a circumstance without, doesn't mean deliverance within.
-You can have a breakup, without a breakthrough.
-It's feelings vs faith. What happens when you don't feel like going on? Your faith has to kick in.
-Being indifferent doesn't mean spiritual maturity. That's worse than being in your feelings. Don't be lukewarm.
-That besetting sin is the one you thought you were over, but it keeps showing up.
-God will show up and quench your thirst and you'll think it was a breakthrough.
-Don't be a church hopper and/or church shopper. You have to learn to take root. You have to take cover in God.
-Sustained success will cause you to let your guard down. You'll think your besetting sin was dead when it was just sleeping.
-When the devil sees your guard down, that's his opportune tike.
-You have to be diligent when nobody else is watching.
-The worse sin is idleness.
-You have to treasure God above all else and all others.
-Just because you change location, it doesn't mean that thing within you is gone.
