“Sharing the Light” Acts 10:34-44
I. The PERSONAL Witness of the SAINTS (v 39)
A. The apostles were a DIVERSE group, yet they were UNITED in their witness
B. They were eyewitnesses of the VIRTUOUS life of Jesus (vv 34, 38) (Ma. 17:1-5)
C. They were eyewitnesses of His VICARIOUS death (v 39) (Deut. 21:23)
D. They were eyewitnesses of His VICTORIOUS resurrection (vv 40-41)
E. As believers in Jesus Christ, we also have a PERSONAL witness
1. What we have not seen with out physical eyes, we have seen through the eye of FAITH
2. Jesus has Called us to be His WITNESSES, not His LAWYERS
II. The PROPHETIC Witness of the SCRIPTURES (v 43)
A. The THEME of the Old Testament is the Lord Jesus Christ
B. Fulfilled PROPHECY is one of the greatest proofs that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
C. All of the PROPHETS speak in agreement that Jesus is Lord
Note: It is estimated that there are more than 300 direct Old Testament prophecies that prophesy the miracle birth and earthly life of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
III. The PERSUASIVE Witness of the SPIRIT (v 44) (Acts 1:8)
A. The Holy Spirit witnesses TO us (1 John 5:9; Acts 5:32)
Note: It is God the Holy Spirit who CONVICTS us of the truth of Jesus Christ
B. The Holy Spirit also witnesses IN us (1 John 5:10; Psalms 34:8)
Note: When the Holy Spirit witnesses to us and we believe on Him, the witness then lives within us
C. The Holy Spirit also witnesses THROUGH us (vv 45-46) (Acts 2:1-13)
D. Once the people BELIEVED, Peter commanded them to be baptized (vv 47-48)
Conclusion: Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?

Romans 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
