We believe that we who are alive in Christ, who have surrendered our hearts to the Lord, and the Spirit of the living God, who are committed to living a life of prayer and obedience according to God‘s word, are those who are focused on the return of Christ! We are the ones who believe that all who have died in Christ will rise from the dead and those of us who live in Christ, who are still alive on earth will be Raptured (Caught Up). We will be reunited with all those who have been resurrected from the dead, to meet the Lord in air! We believe this day will happen soon. We believe it, not only because the word of God tells us it will happen, but also because of the condition of the world today in the signs given to us by Christ in Luke chapter 21, Mark chapter 13, and Matthew chapter 24. In these chapters along with other bible passages, Jesus clearly gives the warning signs of things that will happen on earth prior to His return! God’s love, grace, and mercy is to redeem even the most lost person on earth. It is our responsibility to repent in every way to ensure that we are “Rapture Ready“! Much of our repentance is accomplished through two commands given by Christ found in Mark 12:30-31 which is to love God and to love people! This is why our Bible passage leads in with this topic.
1 Thessalonians 4:9-12 Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other. 10 And in fact, you do love all of God’s family throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more, 11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, 12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.
Through our love for others, we are to win the lost for Christ! 1 Peter 4:8 says above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
There is so much in the human heart that can easily lead us astray. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? This is why we must lay down every distraction that purposes to knock us off track from God’s destiny for us. If we remain focused on God’s Plan (destiny) for us, a great and precious reward is waiting for us at the culmination of all things. One of the most anticipated blessings we believe will happen soon is “THE RETURN OF CHRIST OUR LORD, SAVIOR, AND KING”!
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.
Are you ready! It is time to ready ourselves for the “Coming of Christ our King”! The signs are all over the earth! Luke 21:28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." AMEN!
