Resistance is a three part series focusing on the Devil, the Flesh and the World. Last week we learned that the Devil came not only to destroy us but to keep his territory and kill us. All of which he has illegally claimed if your are Christian. We are called to claim what is rightfully ours and in the name of Jesus remove the squatter on your property, AMEN. The devil is liar and relentless but the blood of Jesus has overcome. Jesus alone is ALL powerful … claim it today! In the second sermon we learn about the detriments of satisfying the fleshly desires. God created all things and all things are good. However the fallen flesh is corrupted by sin and we must daily seek to crush and deny the sins that seem to be our favorite sins. One of the favorite sins is an incorrect motive for being a Christian. Do you bargain with God and try to manipulate Him. Do you dwell on past sins in order to wallow in guilt. Is your identity a person you don’t even know. In this sermon the Word of God will flush out your motives, either bad or good. It’s time to resist the resistance and live a life with the correct motives.
