REVELATION 20.11-15 “Great White Throne”
-Satan released from Abyss
-Satan led rebels attack Jerusalem
-God destroys army with fire from heaven
-Satan is thrown in the Lake of Fire

Judgment at the End of the World (Rev 20.11-15)
Verse 11) -The Great White Throne Judgment
-Great. Power / Authority
-White. Purity / Holiness

-God on throne as Judge / Jesus is the Judge
-Judgment given to Son (John 5.22)
-Judges the living and dead (Acts 10.42; 2 Tim 4.1)

-Earth and heavens fled away / Destroyed?
-Prior to new creation (Rev 21)
-Old creation melts away (Is 34.4; 2 Pet 3.10-13)
-Heaven and earth will pass away (Matt 24.35)

-*Judgment not on earth (Destroyed) or heaven (No sinners allowed)
-*Takes place in indescribable void / Between old and new

Verse 12) -Dead souls given resurrected bodies
-Small and great. All people / Poor or rich / Weak or strong
-*Who is resurrected at this time?. Lost? / Redeemed?

-*Premillennial. Separate resurrections of lost and redeemed
-Pre-tribulation. Redeemed resurrected two separate times
-First at rapture before tribulation
-Second at beginning of Millennial kingdom
-Post-tribulation. Resurrected at beginning of Millennial kingdom
-Both views. Lost resurrected at end of Millennial kingdom

-*Amillennial. General resurrection for lost and redeemed
-Millennial kingdom only spiritual reign / Not literal on earth
-All dead resurrected at Jesus’ return
-Revelation 20.5 and 20.12 describing same event

-Revelation 20.5. Tribulation martyrs resurrected before Millennial
