The church in Thyatira was a mix of all kinds of church goers both godly and ungodly. Regardless how they looked on the outside, the stare of Jesus saw the heart. He knew those who were walking uprightly as well as those who had been seduced by a false teacher, named Jezebel. What was happening in this first century church is a prophetic framework for what took place during the Middle Ages when unbiblical rituals and practices were brought into the church. Pastor Jack stresses the importance of staying true to the Word of God in order to defend against the many false doctrines that are being taught today.
