2014-07-06 Revelation 5:7-14 Israel is God's priests and kings. Jesus takes the book of seven seals (5:7) in answer to the saints' prayers for judgment of the wicked (5:8). The result of the seven-year judgment is that Israel is redeemed out of the Gentiles (5:9) and made kings and priests in God's eternal kingdom on earth (5:10). The opening of the book causes creation to praise God for delivering them from the curse (5:13).
