Today we continue the message series "Runaway" as we study the second chapter of Jonah. We will hear how Jonah prayed four petitions that are available to us when we hit bottom: he expressed his pain to God, he confessed his sin, he moved to gratitude, and he committed his faith to God. In our struggles, God gets the last word, and it is one of rescue and victory, for Jonah and for us. "...with a song of thanksgiving, [I] will sacrifice to you...salvation comes from the Lord." (Jonah 2:9)
