I wrote a song for Ruth 1:16 in the NIV translation to help my 5th grade students with one of their weekly Bible verses. Now, I'm working with my two oldest sons (K and 3rd) to memorize 2-3 ESV verses for every OT book from Genesis - Psalms. (For more information, go to swordgrip.com). I adapted my earlier song to fit with ESV and added verse 17. In the video, I play and sing it once and then play the notes with captions of the first letter of each word to help with memory.
