Isn’t it hard to be thankful sometimes? As Christians we know that we get placed in tough circumstances for a reason and that God can use everything for good, but sometimes it’s hard to see what God is doing.
In Leviticus, there is a literal sacrifice made when praising God and in Jonah, we see how being thankful can be a sacrifice in itself.
God knows that being thankful and praising Him isn’t always easy, but in those hard times it is important to keep our eyes on God and praise Him for who He is and what He is doing, even when it’s hard to see how He is working.
