Paul reminds us to be a discerning people. Not everyone who comes in the name of God is from God. There are those false teachers who boast about themselves and promote themselves in order to profit themselves and lead the church into deception. Just as Satan disguises himself as an angel of light but if full darkness and death so too his servants.
