We come now to what is the climax of everything we have seen so far in this passage. Each step in this sevenfold description of Jesus has demonstrated His preeminence.

He is the heir of all things
He is the creator of all things
He is the radiance of God's glory
He is the exact imprint of God's nature
He is the sustainer of all things
He has made purification of sins

Now, the preeminence of Jesus could not be more clearly expressed than by these words:
"He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high."
