Malachi 3: 1-4
New International Version (NIV)
“I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the Lord Almighty.
2 But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, 4 and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in days gone by, as in former years.

Mid-Week Advent Worship: We annually have one, mid-week Advent worship opportunity. This year, we will offer this opportunity on Wednesday, December 12 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. This is a great opportunity to set aside some time during a busy month and focus on the promises of our God in anticipation of his coming.
Annual Christmas Dinner/White Elephant Gift Auction: Our annual Christmas Dinner/White Elephant gift auction will be held on Sunday, December 16 after our second service. This is an annual gathering that is a blast. We ask each person to bring a gift to auction off and all of the proceeds help to fund our Women of Northdale who take care of the paraments and the decorations in our church. There will be a potluck dinner served that day. We will have a sign up sheet in the entryway if you are planning to attend, just so we know we have a variety of foods available. Set your calendars and plan to attend this great fun activity.
