Jesus does astonishing thing in Capernaum, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. He teaches with real authority and he backs up what he says by what he does. He heals people and he drives out evil from their lives.
Even if we struggle to understand ‘the devil’ and ‘demons’, we can be sure that no-one, however evil their deeds, is beyond saving. Every life is worth freeing. Though it cost him his life, Jesus never gives up on us.
