Good day friends! In today's lesson we are going to take a look into 2 Corinthians 8-9. In this passage Paul details his efforts to take a special collection from the churches in Achaia and Corinth for the support of the believers in Jerusalem- who just so happened to be at the epicentre of a terrible famine which gripped the Roman world for 3 years (A.D 52-55). The parallels between our day and what the believers of Paul's day were experiencing is truly uncanny! Whatever age or time we live in a big lesson of 2 Corinthians 8-9 is this: Be a generous person. Open your wallet and your heart to those who are going thru a hard time
