Pastor MacLaren continues his series of messages in the book of Acts, showing how the early church met the opposition from civil and religious authorities. The church did not submit to the government's decree forbidding the preaching of the gospel. Rather, it went everywhere preaching the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the good news of salvation for all who believe. We need to be encouraged by their example and boldly proclaim salvation from sin and everlasting life through Jesus Christ.
