Good day friends. Welcome to todays service which features one of our own being baptized. When a person commits their life to following Christ- asking Him to forgive them of their sins and believing in Him as the only Saviour and Lord-- one of the first steps they are to take is to be identified with Christ in baptism. To be baptized is a step of obedience to Jesus. It doesn't save but it is symbolic of how by the blood of Jesus our sins were washed away. In all things we are to obey Christ (gathering as the saints, praying, forgiving, loving others, serving, giving, tell others the wife of salvation, etc). Have a blessed day!
