Good day friends. This morning we are taking a look into the Book of Joel together. The book sits in two parts. In the first half Israel experiences a mini Day of the LORD when a giant locust swarm decimates the land. The only solution offered: Repent and get right with the LORD. In part 2 of Joel THE DAY OF THE LORD is in focus and a road map is given- starting with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit (fulfilled in Acts 2 on the day of Pentecost). The remedy is the same- to escape the just judgement that we all deserve, we must repent of our sins and turn to the LORD in faith and in trust- believing upon the LORD Jesus Christ.
