This morning during our study in God's Word we took a look into Romans 4- noting the deep Jewish roots the church has and how our faith is connected to the faith that Abraham expressed. It was by faith that Abraham was credited with righteousness. It is by faith in Jesus as the only Saviour and Lord that we are credited with righteousness and have peace with God, forgiveness of our sins, and eternal life. Hence, Abraham is our spiritual father in the faith. Not only did Abraham trust God when God gave promises to him, he trusted and followed God every day. Our faith is to be like this too- day by day walking in Christ, trusting God each step of the way
