God created us, He created sex, and it started out good. So, what went wrong? We want to help undo some of the lies we’ve heard from culture—and the church—to see what it really looks like to be discipled by Jesus when it comes to our sexuality.
Sex is one of the first activities humans engaged in and is widely talked about in pop culture, but really talking about sex can feel so awkward, especially in the church. And there’s a long history there. God created us and sex, and it was good. So, what happened? Sexuality is in almost every piece of content that we consume, and as our flippant intake increases, the value, depth, and beauty actually decrease. We want to help undo some of the lies we’ve heard from culture—and the church—to see what it really looks like to be discipled by Jesus when it comes to our sexuality. Being a disciple of Jesus should transform what we do with our bodies and how we view sexuality.
