A very proud man once prayed, "I thank God that I am not like the men." There is great danger in comparing our goodness to the goodness of others. I can always find someone I think is worse than myself. That attitude will keep us from realizing the severity of our own sin, and, keep us from a more intimate relationship with God. What are we to do? The psalmist gives us the answer in this passage today.
