The old saying says, "Misery loves company." Many times, when we find ourselves miserable, we try to find solace by talking to a friend, or by sharing our burden with others who are going through similar kinds of things. Israel, when they were in misery, cried out to the Lord. They turned aside from all the things that were making them miserable and cried out to the Lord and the Scripture says that God could bear their misery no longer. It is important to remember that their misery was caused by their sin. But thankfully, God sent them a deliverer to rescue them from their enemies.
