Isaac entreats the Lord for his wife Rebekah who was barren, the Lord hears Isaacs prayer and Rebekah conceives. She has complications and goes before the Lord to find out whats going on, only to find that not only is she having twins but they are fighting in her womb.

The Lord informs her that two nations are in her womb and that they are to total opposite of each other.
