Bill Johnson teaches how to leave a legacy and highlights the sobering leadership mistakes of King Hezekiah. Hezekiah was one of the greatest reformers in history, but became complacent in the final years of his life. Manasseh, his son, was born and raised in this season of Hezekiah’s life, and went on to become one of Israel’s most evil and corrupt kings. We are called to leave a legacy for future generations, and we can only do that by avoiding the leadership mistakes of Hezekiah. We must not let entitlement and complacency creep in, and maintain our passion and hunger for God.
