The Roman governor Festus is at a loss. He has to send Paul to Rome but cannot imagine what the charge might be. Thankfully, King Herod Agrippa shows up, one who is familiar with both the Roman world and the Jewish world. Sometimes, we need a Herod who can help connect the secular and sacred worlds. Without these folks who can speak both "languages," the message of Jesus can be lost in translation.
