Hello you:) Happy last day of May day, today! I for one am excited for the many sunny and warm days that are to come in June!!

Speaking of weather, this past week’s weather was WILD, wasn’t it? We had a super sunny day one day, and then we had thunderstorms and heavy rain the very next day! Isn’t it funny how quickly the weather can change? But this is a good example to help us learn that everything in this world is always changing. Especially people. 

The reason why the Israelites have such a hard to following God is because they are constantly changing their minds. They choose to obey and follow God in one season, but then they suddenly decide to make a golden calf and worship THAT instead of GOD! And aren’t we the same as well?
Maybe one day we’ll get along with our parents, but the next day something happens and there is an argument. 

People change. And we can sin a lot as we change our minds every day, every moment.

But the beauty of change is when we CHOOSE to return to God. THAT is the key to today’s message: REPENTANCE. We are learning today how the Israelites choose to change their ways to what brings God happiness, instead of just themselves.

My friend, you and  I will always make mistakes; we will always sin. But even when we make a wrong move, we can always make a RIGHT move by asking forgiveness to God and walking away from our bad decision. Because God always listens to our prayers, and He is our ultimate helper.
