Hello my friend!
In our Bible story today, we see that Jesus is definitely NOT another regular human being, but a PERFECT, HEAVENLY being.
You see, in Jesus' eyes, he saw a LOT of brokenness, sin, and disobedience of God's Word in the world. He saw the selfish Pharisees who wanted all the glory to themselves. He saw the Israelites who ignored the poor, the sick, and the weak. He saw people who said they loved God, but chose not to show love to their neighbors.

A perfect being in an imperfect world, why didn't Jesus just give up? Why didn't he punish and erase a broken world?

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever shall believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son to punish the world, but that they might be saved through Him" (John 3:16-17).

These are VERY important verses. Because this is saying that Jesus, a perfect being, came into this world so that He can RESCUE the sinful people in the world; that includes you and me!

Jesus is giving ALL OF US a second chance. A second chance to live a Holy, beautiful, Christ-filled life that is covered with love, salvation, and Truth.

My friend, this is a really amazing truth. If you are living with brokenness, pain, and sin, then Jesus is stretching out His hand to say "I'm here to save you through My perfect Love".
