HELLO YOU! Welcome back to our Sunday Service!!! Hey, how are you feeling about going back to school soon?

Are you guys thinking about how school is going to look in this upcoming year? Maybe you're looking forward to your new classes, or are wondering if you got a good teacher. Do you have a favorite teacher that you can think of right now? What are some things about that teacher that make them a GOOD teacher?

It's important what teacher we get for the school year, because a GOOD teacher will teach us well and let us have fun while we learn, right? A teacher wouldn't be a very good teacher if they didn't know how to teach you, or guide you during your school year. This year, I pray that you will get a teacher that is willing to support you, help you, and teach you lots so you grow in knowledge!

Did you know back in Jesus' day, Jesus was the "weird, but cool" teacher? He didn't get any official training to be a teacher of the Bible, but Jesus knew SO much about it, AND he taught as one with authority (Matthew 7:29), or one with great knowledge and understanding. Yet, Jesus didn't use that to teach just the good people. Last week we learned that Jesus is also a HEALER. Jesus used his authority in the word to teach to the broken, the lost and the confused.

And through the power of God's Word (the Bible!!!) Jesus is continuing to teach to YOU and ME today. Let's pray and ask the Holy Spirit to open our hearts, eyes, and ears to hear and receive what Jesus has for us today!!
