4:1-3 Abraham justified by faith alone.

4:5 God justifies the ungodly (5:6).

4:6 David justified by faith alone.

4:7-8 David’s past sins and future sins were forgiven.

4:9-13 Both programs (Israel & Gentiles) are justified by faith, not the law.

4:4-5,14 Faith and law do not mix.

4:15 The law works wrath (Galatians 2:18; Galatians 5:3-4).

4:16 Faith + grace = eternal security

4:19-20 God brought life through dead flesh.

4:21 Faith: Being fully persuaded that what God has promised, He is able to perform

4:22 Faith = God’s imputed righteousness

4:24-25 Shows that you must believe in Jesus’ resurrection in order to have eternal life
