Conscious ignorance would be the first step towards knowledge.

In today’s verse , Jesus indicated that His ministry was meant to give spiritual sight to those who desire to obtain it,
and reveal spiritual blindness to those who thought they were wise and excessively proud of their own wisdom - like some Pharisees sealed up in ignorance. The sin of the undo pride and self-confident remains so they reject the gospel of grace, therefore the guilt of their sin remains unpardoned, and the power of their sin remains unbroken.

Be conscious of your blindness so you can able to seek for spiritual light. As the Word of God tells us that the first step towards true spiritual light must be a consciousness of blindness.
