Corinthians were pagan people. And yet God had many in that city. We can be alive, but not alive to God. He brings us to have His mind and His opinion. The stuff of ourselves must be brought to the Cross. (1 Corinthians 1:10-15; Romans 1:18-19; 14:7-9)
