With the price of gas today, you would think people would find some other way...anything other than paying $4 a gallon...to get around town. But the reality is, our culture is set up to use our cars to cruise from thing to thing, so we can more quickly and easily enjoy life...doing the things we need and want to do...without the inconvenience of a long walk or bike ride. That extra time and effort is just not worth the tradeoff for us. And it makes sense, we already have enough going on, we want to make things easier, not harder. But when it comes to our life in Christ, often we do just the opposite...instead of living in God's strength, filling up our tank with the gas that we need to power our life, we do everything in our own strength. In the end, usually we end up frustrated and worn out.
We don't want to live that way, but so often we do. So how do we find and rely on God's strength, and know that we are in the center of his will for our life? Come find out more this Sunday as Pastor Bill breaks open Acts 19 and gives us life-changing keys to living in God's strength, in a message called "Receive and Respond." Fill up your gas tank, cruise on over to Crossroads this Sunday, and we will enjoy a powerful time of seeking God together.
