JOHN CHAPTER 5:
 
Verses 1-18….. Jesus heals a man who was infirmed for 38 years!

Verse 1…… Jesus attends a Jewish feast in Jerusalem.
Leviticus 23:1-2….. John 2:12-13
Verse 2….. The pool named “Bethesda” (House of Mercy).
Psalm 103:8-14….. Psalm 117:1-2
Verses 3-6…. Jesus asks the man if he would like to be healed.
Hebrews 4:13-16….. Psalm 72:12-13
Verse 7…. The infirmed man explains to Jesus that there is no one to help him.
Psalm 142:1-7…
Verse 8…. Jesus commands the man to rise and take up his bed.
Matthew 9:1-7…..
Verses 9-10….. The man believed Jesus and was made whole, and the same day it was the Sabbath.  The Jews were offended!
Exodus 20:9-11….. Jeremiah 17:20-22….. Mark 3:1-6
Verses 11-13…. The blind man tells all to the Pharisees.
John 8:36…..
Verses 14-18…. Jesus warns the man….and the Jews hate Jesus.
Matthew 12:43-45…… John 7:16-23….. John 15:18-21
